PRP Training Course

Our PRP training course will teach you about the new and revolutionary approach in tissue regeneration, that is used to rejuvenate the skin, treat scars, including acne scarring, and hair restoration in male pattern baldness.

PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. Platelets, are cells found in the blood that primarily help our blood to clot and prevent blood loss following trauma. However, they also play a significant role in the natural processes of growth and healing. In addition, platelets are also our body’s primary source of bioactive tissue growth factors. By isolating a concentrated sample of platelets and growth factors we can stimulate the natural wound healing response in the chosen injection site, producing an array of beneficial outcomes from the point of view of both health and beauty.

PRP is a very versatile treatment. The role of platelets in growth and healing allows us to harness the power of the bodies own healing system to treat of range of presentations. It is an exclusively autologous (body’s own) treatment which makes it very popular in the Azthetics clinic.

Is this PRP training course for you?

This PRP training course is developed with medical professionals in mind. We welcome all professionals represented by a professional regulatory body. This includes Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Midwives, and Dental Therapists.

We would recommend that delegates should have some injecting experience before attending this course due to the advanced techniques that will be used to get the best aesthetic result. In addition, all participants are required to have some experience in the art of venopuncture. This is a key skill in obtaining the sample for use in the treatment. Evidence of this is required.

This course offers a unique opportunity for clients to train via both the tradition PRP method using derma roller, but also using the state of the art U225 mesogun for administration of the PRP sample.

Who will be teaching the course?

The PRP training course will be delivered under the expert guidance of our Lead Nurse Trainer Emily. Emily has over 10 years experience within the aesthetics industry. Her blend of comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience has led her to teaching and mentoring in the field of aesthetics.
